Denis DubéDenis Dubé was born in 1953 in St-Roch-des-Aulnaies, on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River. Following in his father’s footsteps, he became a wood carver, and continued his studies at the renowned college of sculpture and design at nearby St-Jean-Port-Joli, the wood-carving centre of Québec. D. Dubé’s carvings represent exclusively animals indigenous to Canada, including the grizzly of the western mountains, the elk and bison of the plains, the woodland deer and moose and the northern caribou. His work is sought after by collectors world-wide. |
The pictures shown are examples of his work and are not necessarily in stock. |
