Silas Qayaqjuaq, Back Through the Years
I first met Silas in the late 1990’s when he moved to Ottawa. From then until mid 2023 Silas would bring his delightful sculptures in to the gallery. I could tell how good the piece would be by the twinkle in Silas’s eyes as he came in the door.Sadly, Silas passed away on January 13, 2024 and he is missed by us all at the Snow Goose as well as collectors around the world.Back Through the Years will open at 10:00 AM on Saturday November 23rd. The sculptures will be sold on a first come first serve bases. If you cannot make it to the gallery you can be put on a list with your choice. If your choice has not sold at 10:00 we will sell it to you. Do to the popularity we will limit the choice to three pieces on the first round of in store and out of town sales. Back Through the Years may be viewed in the gallery from November 1st to 23rd. |
